Who is responsible
Pharoah Technology Ltd (company number 17220127, registered office 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom) is the data controller for this store. Contact: info@pharoahtechnology.co.uk.
What we collect, by route
- Reserve orders: the name or alias and email; for hardware, the recipient, courier phone and complete delivery address; the optional roaming-data SIM preference; and the optional organisation, unit reference and notes you choose to give us.
- Stripe checkout: payment is handled by Stripe and the payment method you select. We never see your full card number or payment-account credentials. Stripe checkout collects your name, email and phone number, plus a shipping address for kits and routers, and shares the order details with us; we keep them in the order record. Stripe processes your data under its own privacy policy.
- Order email: we pass the order and fulfilment details to Resend, our email delivery provider, so it can send the private operator copy and, after Stripe payment, the buyer confirmation. Resend processes them under its own privacy policy.
- Abuse protection: a short-lived, hashed rate-limit counter derived from your connection. It expires within an hour and stores no address.
- Order alerts: a new order pings our own self-hosted alert channel with the order reference, product, amount and country — never your name, email or street address.
- Infrastructure: this site is served by Cloudflare, which processes connection data (such as IP addresses) to deliver and protect it.
Nothing else is collected on this site. No analytics, no trackers, no advertising pixels, no third-party scripts.
Why we process it
Fulfilling your order and contacting you about it (performance of a contract); order alerts and abuse protection (legitimate interests); keeping payment and order records (legal obligation).
What we do not do
- No accounts, no marketing lists, no data sales, and no sharing beyond what your order strictly requires (Stripe and the selected payment provider for checkout, Resend for transactional order email, a shipping carrier for delivery).
- The GhostWire device itself is never linked to your order details after handover. The service database cannot join a person to a device — that separation is a design property of the system, not just a policy promise.
Retention and deletion
Order and payment records are kept while needed to fulfil the order, then for up to six years where UK tax and accounting law requires, then deleted. Everything else is short-lived as described above. Email us any time to ask what we hold on your reference, to correct it, or to have it deleted where the law allows.
Your rights
UK GDPR gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection, and the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
